The Department of Disease Prevention and Gossanepidnadzor conduct weekly monitoring of the incidence of influenza, SARS and coronavirus infection.

Thus, according to operational data for the 23rd week of 2022, 3404 cases of ARVI were registered (from 06.06. to 12.06.22), compared with the previous week (22 week of 3300 cases), there is an increase in the incidence of ARVI by - 1%, and compared with the same week of 2021, the incidence is higher by -1.3% (23 week of 2021 G. - 2633 cases were registered). Of all the cases, 77% are children under 14 years of age (2616 cases).

"Cases of acute respiratory viral infections can be provoked by unstable weather (heat up to 37 degrees and above, a sharp cold snap), which leads to a decrease in the body's defenses and contributes to an increase in morbidity. At the same time, adults with acute respiratory viral infections are more likely to be carried on their feet and, if sanitary and hygienic measures are not followed, infect their children and their family members. According to laboratory data, the incidence of ARVI is caused by common acute viral infections, such as MS infection, parainfluenza, metapneumoviruses and adenoviruses, which are registered in the country annually," said Dinara Otorbayeva, head of the Department for the Prevention of Infectious, Parasitic Diseases and Surveillance.

To date, according to monitoring, there is a tendency to stabilize the epidemiological situation of coronavirus infection in the country. Isolated cases are registered in the republic, which occur in a mild and asymptomatic form. During the last week (week 23, from 06.06.2022 to 13.06.2022), 12 emergency notifications were received on COVID-19 in the territory of Bishkek, Chui and Osh regions, among which there are no hospitalized. No cases of COVID-19 have been registered in other regions.

For the entire period, a total of 201,016 cases were registered, of which 139,936 cases were laboratory–confirmed, 61,080 cases were clinically and epidemiologically confirmed.
No fatal cases from COVID-19 have been registered.

To prevent respiratory infections such as SARS, influenza, coronavirus infection, you need to follow simple rules such as:
