A mobile complex was handed over to the Center for Quarantine and Especially Dangerous Infections

On December 7, 2021, at the Republican Center for Quarantine and Highly Dangerous Infections (RCKiOOI), a ceremony was held for the transfer of a mobile complex based on a KAMAZ vehicle, which allows for bacteriological and many indicator studies that may be required by any Emergency circumstances in the public health system. The event was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Uluk-Bek Bekturganov and representatives of the Russian Research Anti-Plague Institute "Microbe".
“On behalf of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Government of the Russian Federation for assistance and technical assistance in strengthening the material, technical and personnel potential of the anti-plague service of our republic. Special thanks to colleagues from Russia for training, transfer of experience in using mobile systems in emergency situations, ”said Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Uluk-Bek Bekturganov.
Joint field research in natural foci of plague and other topical zoonoses makes it possible to increase the required level of knowledge and skills of domestic specialists, and to improve the quality of surveillance for quarantine infections. The use of advanced technologies and approaches in diagnostics, epizootic-spatial monitoring in natural focal zones, in measures of prevention and anti-epidemic protection of the population, is essential at the present time.The training of our specialists at the bases of the leading anti-plague institutes of the Russian Federation significantly increases the potential of the service as a whole.
“In the mobile complex on the basis of a KAMAZ off-road vehicle, two laboratories are organized - bacteriological and indication, which make it possible to conduct research on causative agents of dangerous infectious diseases such as cholera, plague, COVID-19 in compliance with all biological safety rules. The complex is equipped with two class III and II biological safety boxes, ”said Ekaterina Naydenova, senior researcher at the Russian Research Anti-Plague Institute“ Microbe ”.
Also, supplies of reagents, consumables, test systems, various equipment are continuing, strengthening the capabilities of the RCKiOOI. The previously obtained 4 MLED auto laboratories have proven themselves excellently during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. They were deployed in regions not covered by virological laboratories and made it possible to cope with the dramatically increased volumes of virological studies of patients and contacts.
