Cured of tuberculosis, Mira became an activist

"I used to be afraid to say that I had tuberculosis. And sometimes I myself could hardly believe in all this ..."- says 25-year-old Mira, putting down the book. "Now I am not afraid of the fact that I had tuberculosis. I am not afraid of the condemnation of society, the condemnation of the people around me. People need to understand that everyone can get sick, and that patients need support, that support saves lives."
