On February 25, UNDP organized a round table with all partners to plan activities within the framework of HIV control programs. The purpose of this event was to discuss and plan activities for 2021, including achieving a cascade of services, fulfilling the obligations of the Global Partnership to Eliminate Stigma and Discrimination, implementing a plan for the transition to public funding and expanding the state social order in the field of HIV. All national partners working in the field of HIV, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Republican AIDS Center, representatives of communities were invited.

In particular, during the round table, the results of a study conducted in 2020 by the Partner Network Association together with the AIDS RC were presented: in 2020, 79% of people living with HIV and taking ART received TLD (tenofovir/lamivudine/dolutegravir), and in 2021 more than 90% will switch to this the scheme. At the same time, more than 50% of the total need for ARV drugs is purchased from the state budget, and their cost is reduced in public procurement to $ 7 per month, which is the lowest price in the region and comparable to the prices of UNDP.

Based on the results of the presented annual action plan of the AIDS RC for 2021, the partners gave recommendations and suggestions for the most coordinated and effective work.
