UNDP and the Partner Network Association conducted a campaign for the day of "Zero Discrimination"

This day is celebrated on March 1 to eliminate all forms of stigma and discrimination related to HIV. The campaign's theme was "I am more than my HIV status."

At the beginning of 2020, Kyrgyzstan joined the Global Partnership to Eliminate All Types of Stigma and Discrimination Related to HIV. Participation and achievement of Partnership goals will not only solve these problems in the field of HIV, but also help the country eliminate stigma and discrimination in many areas of our lives. As part of this activity, by March 1, the campaign "I am more than my HIV status" was organized. The purpose of the #morethan campaign is to fight stigma through pride, paying tribute to the diversity of life experiences, achievements of the community of people living with HIV, by communicating the stories of individuals through social networks. The idea is that we are all "more than" our HIV status (positive or negative) and more than any label that denies our inherent complexity - we are all people with different identities, interests and dreams. The campaign was conducted by the Partner Network Association, within the framework of the UNDP/Global Fund project.
