Проект ПРООН/ГФ опубликовал новости за август 2020
Under a grant from the Global Fund, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) continues to support efforts to combat tuberculosis and HIV in Kyrgyzstan. Our work consists in providing free and high-quality treatment for all patients in need, improving diagnostics, organizing educational and preventive measures, supporting NGOs, communities and patients. Here you will see the news about our activities for August.

Scientists around the world are warning of the catastrophic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic for the fight against HIV and tuberculosis, possibly erasing years of achievements in these important battles. When it became clear that Kyrgyzstan, unfortunately, would not escape a new global pandemic, the UNDP project "Effective control of HIV and tuberculosis in the Kyrgyz Republic", funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, together with partners – state medical and non-governmental organizations - began to adapt its activities to ensure continuous prevention, diagnose and treat HIV and tuberculosis in this difficult situation and assist the country in the fight against COVID-19.

As noted by the Deputy Permanent Representative of UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic, Jenty Kirsch-Wood: "At UNDP, we strive to support medical services for everyone, including the most vulnerable groups of the population."
