The virtual symposium "The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and HIV on achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3.3." was held on July 28, 2020. The event was organized by Rospotrebnadzor and UNAIDS and was held in preparation for the International Forum "Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the Fight against Epidemics", scheduled for October 27-28, 2020 in Moscow. The symposium aimed to discuss the urgent tasks of countering HIV and other infectious diseases in connection with the pandemic of the new coronavirus.

The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection has affected the functioning of all sectors of society, including those that directly affect human life – healthcare, education, transportation, recreation.
