With the support of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) in Kyrgyzstan, a study was conducted in various regions of Kyrgyzstan, from October to November 2019 (a sample survey of the population aged 18 and older) using mobile phones with the program "Monitoring, mapping, analysis", as well as a qualitative in-depth study among the target populations of Bishkek and Osh.

The purpose of the study is to study the level of awareness about HIV and AIDS, the ways of its transmission and the causes leading to stigmatization in the Kyrgyz Republic.

public health organizations of the Ministry of Health
