2On April 7, 2020, an extraordinary meeting of the CSO Committee was held to discuss the possibility of submitting an additional country application to the Global Fund to Combat COVID-19 in the amount of 10% of the amount of the recent application to the GF, which is 2.5 million US dollars.
The members of the Committee voted in favor of submitting an application to the GF and instructed the Sector for the Preparation of Applications, Resource Mobilization and Harmonization to prepare proposals for the formation of the composition of the Working Group, which will have to prepare a country application in a short time. On April 29, 2020, a meeting of the Sector is scheduled to discuss the priorities of the application.
