Community Competition and Community Organizations
The World AIDS Day Organizing Committee is announcing the call for applications for the national community competition “Communities for Change”.
The purpose of the competition
Rewarding community workers, activists and community representatives for contributions and professional work in prevention programs.
Communities are expected to nominate only those individuals who have played a significant role in promoting and supporting HIV prevention and treatment programs, including achievements and merit in advocacy and human rights.
The competition is aimed not only at encouraging community representatives, but also at stimulating civic engagement and broad discussion of issues related to the development of prevention programs.
Representatives of non-governmental organizations representing communities or individuals and activists, not necessarily associated with organizations, but representing communities, can participate in the competition.
