Today at the conference hall of the National red Crescent Society of the KR held a Round table discussion on the intermediate results of the implementation of the UNDP project "Effective monitoring of HIV and TB in the Kyrgyz Republic" and the beginning of a new Project "Strengthening the commitment of people to the treatment of MDR-TB in the Kyrgyz Republic" with the use of digital technologies.

The representative of the Ministry of health reported that to date there have been issued several orders that will contribute to the early implementation of the National programme "Tuberculosis V" and the Plan for the optimization and structuring of the TB service.

Director of the NDF noted the social importance of the projects aimed at strengthening adherence to TB treatment, as there is a high percentage of the treatment interruption, which may lead to resistant forms of Dr-TB.
