NGO "Shah Aiym" presented a video clip dedicated to the protection of the rights of sex workers

One can often hear criticism in the address of the sex workers that we put up with violations of their rights, giving the police money in exchange for the release, without giving statements on violators. The path of restoration of rights is a path with many obstacles, which are the result of historical stigma and discrimination.

The social stigma that is deeply rooted inside each person engaged in sex work, denies faith in himself, deprived of voice and power to assert their human rights. But the atmosphere of constant persecution of sex workers and the impunity of perpetrators reinforces the wall between sex workers and legal means to enforce their rights.

We refer to sex workers, believe in themselves, in their strength and in their rights.

We encourage our allies to build a partnership on the principles of equal and full participation of the community in addressing issues that touch the lives of sex workers.
