Unified Tuberculosis Platform
The USAID project "Support for Tuberculosis patients" has developed a unified digital communication platform on tuberculosis www.tbc.kg The platform is a unique resource that combines several functions:
- providing reliable and comprehensive information about tuberculosis to the public;
- information about all medical organizations in Kyrgyzstan that provide services for the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis with easy navigation for users;
- providing support to people affected by tuberculosis in receiving assistance from local authorities in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- information about organizations providing various services to people affected by TB.
The platform contributes to improving the detection and treatment of tuberculosis in the country, as it facilitates access to medical services for people with TB and suspected TB. The functionality of the site is aimed at improving patients' adherence to treatment through providing them with support at the local level. The service developed by the project will also help decision makers to understand what problems exist in equipping medical organizations to carry out high-quality diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis.
