How to help people with TB locally?

Many people with tuberculosis and their families are in a difficult life situation. This adversely affects their adherence to treatment. And withdrawal from treatment is one of the main reasons for the increase in the number of patients with drug-resistant forms of tuberculosis. Therefore, it is very important to provide support to people with TB so that they have the opportunity to recover and return to their usual life.

To help people with tuberculosis at the local level, on the initiative of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Missions and with the support of the USAID project "Support for Tuberculosis patients", trainings on "Planning local budgets with social orientation" were held in November and December 2021 in Naryn and Jalal-Abad regions. The trainings were organized specifically for newly elected deputies of local keneshes, newly appointed heads of aiyl okmotu and other employees of the OMSU.
