29 сентября 2020 года состоится онлайн семинар Проекта GIZ Backup Health в КР
The global GIZ program "BACKUP Health" of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is pleased to announce the relaunch of another 3-year phase of the project, which began on April 1, 2020 and will run until March 31, 2023. Since 2002, BACKUP has been supporting government and community partners to improve their capacity to leverage global funding to strengthen health systems. Since 2013, the program has been co-funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). For this new phase, the Kyrgyz Republic will be a priority country for BACKUP, which will work closely with partners in four areas:

1. Supporting national coordination of global health financing

2. Strengthening the institutions of the national health system

3. Improving the management of health systems at decentralized levels

4. Mitigating COVID-19 Risks for Implementation of Activities Funded by International Funding Mechanisms

To mark the start of a new phase of the project, GIZ BACKUP is pleased to invite you to an online planning workshop that will take place on Tuesday, September 29, from 15:00 to 17:30. The meeting will be held in English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided for the participants.

The purpose of the workshop is to familiarize all partners with the new phase of BACKUP Health and provide an opportunity to discuss the results of the country assessment, which was conducted in November 2019. Thus, the active participation of all stakeholders will help to identify the needs that BACKUP should meet in the new phase.
