101 TB patients receive assistance within the framework of the USAID Project "Support for Tuberculos

The USAID project "Support for Tuberculosis patients" provides assistance to 101 TB patients in Naryn and Jalal-Abad regions. 11 foster nurses help patients in the treatment of the disease. Each of them patronizes about 10 patients.

In order to convince the patient that tuberculosis needs to be treated and it is absolutely necessary to complete the treatment that has been started, nursing nurses should not only help provide the patient with medicines. Sometimes the nurse is the only person with whom the patient can have a heart–to-heart talk, tell about their worries and fears. In order to persuade patients to receive treatment, nursing nurses try to help in solving the problems faced by patients.
