25-26 March in Bishkek was held a Round table who, on the month of the fight against TB in Kyrgyzstan.

Every year March 24 is world day against tuberculosis, is designed to raise public awareness about the devastating consequences of tuberculosis for health, society and the economy and to intensify efforts to combat the global tuberculosis epidemic. On this day in 1882 Dr. Robert Koch announced that he was able to discover the bacterium causing tuberculosis, making it possible to develop methods of diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Tuberculosis remains the leading cause of death from infectious diseases in the world. Every day from this preventable and treatable disease kills nearly 4,500 people, and nearly 30 000 people get sick of it. It is estimated that since 2000 due to global efforts to fight tuberculosis saved 54 million lives, and the death rate from tuberculosis decreased by 42%. In September, 2018, in an effort to expedite the TB and the achievement of targets in countries, the heads of state held the first ever high-level Meeting of the UN, which they have undertaken ambitious commitments on the elimination of tuberculosis.

World day to combat tuberculosis 2019 under the slogan "Time to act", reminding you as quickly as possible to fulfill the commitment made by world leaders in the following areas:

• increased access to prevention and treatment;
• accountability;
• ensuring adequate and stable funding, including for research;
• help end stigma and discrimination;
• expansion of TB activities on the principles of justice, respect for human rights and needs of people.

The world health organization (who) in collaboration with the Global Fund and the Partnership "Stop TB" initiative started the "Find. Treat. All. #EndTB" ("to Identify, treat everyone, #likvidirovat"), which seeks to accelerate action against TB and ensure access to care in the framework of the policies of the who to achieve universal health coverage.

On this world day against tuberculosis, the who encourages governments, communities affected by tuberculosis, civil society organizations, health institutions and national and international partners to join forces under the motto "to Identify, cure-all, #to eliminate TB", so no one was left without attention.
