February 27, 2019 "Smart hotel" hosted an Introductory seminar MF "curatio"

February 27, 2019 "Smart hotel" was held the opening seminar of the International Fund "curatio". The event was attended by representatives of Republican and City AIDS Centers, GIZ/Backup Health, KNCV, USAID, UNAIDS, and civil society representatives, NGO leaders.

During the seminar it was announced that in the framework of technical cooperation with Backup Health will be provided to short-term targeted support through the involvement of one or several external consultants and also conduct trainings, seminars and analysis. The aim of the Project is to support the three Central Asian countries (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic) on the stage of preparation for the transition from support from Global Fund to domestic funding.

The main tasks of the MF "curatio" are to support countries in the improvement of transition plans, develop national capacities to monitor the implementation of the transition plan, as well as improving the reliability and resilience of health systems by providing flexible support tailored to the country context.
